An extremely overdue update of what's been happening

To much gardening for Lucas. That deck chair was meant for me to sit on.
At the very beginning there was only garlic and shallots.
This was when in my opinion the patch looked very messy i was trying to warm up the squash bed. And i had netting over my brassicas and pak choi. I will not be growing pak choi again because I was told by my mother to grow it, "I love pak choi" , I grew it she never ate it. My brassicas were a different story the purple sprouting broccoli got a disease well I think it was as it went brown. My cauliflower was a success but the variety wasn't tasty. My brussel sprouts were an absolute success they even made it to the table for Christmas day. They will be grown next year with a purple variety and some kale but other than that no brassicas the pests for that kind are to much.

Parsnips and salsify did well got a good crop.

Egyptian prince Marigolds. Bought from sarah ravens website.

Lucas always seems to pop out of places
This was my pumpkin I grew, it wasn't as big as last years but it will have to do.
(this pumpkin was at the Malvern autumn show veg competition. It wasn't mine)

I realise I haven't been updating the blog as much as I should, actually I haven't updated it at all. It was just the hassle of trying to take a good photo then turn on my dinosaur computer wait half an hour till it has warmed up then load up the photos etc. So now that we have got a new computer not half as slow, but still not speedy. I am going to try and update my blog more often, but the photos won't be as good (if they were ever good in the first place) because this is purely to document my veg garden progress. I have also added a lot of photos of the national trust property's I had visited last year. I know I have a few more to post up and photos from Hampton court flower show. It was my first time going and it rained, you will find that rain and me whenever I try and go visit a garden, or go to event it always seems to rain. I am off to Chelsea Flower Show this year so we shall see.
