I have dug round the apple tree and made that little bed bigger as I am going to be growing two climbing roses, rambling rector and something else can't remeber the name. They should be arriving next month. I have also hard pruned the tree as I won't be able to do that as easily once the roses get going.
My kale and some carrots i had attempted to grow for Christmas in the cold frame didn't work.
My kale still tastes bitter which is a shame as last year it was gourgous we ate kale nearly every night. So I am going to try a different seed packet and variety next year. I will probebly use the rest of it in a Sarah Raven recipe for making crispy seaweed.
