Cottagers Kale

If you saw the gardeners world which featured Kinghtshayes court, you would of seen the head gardener talking about this kale which is not on the seed lists any more, and can't get it anywhere else apart from here. Well guess who has it ME! oh yes I used my charm and asked one of the gardeners if I could have a cutting. Now there is a cottagers kale in Somerset.

Dear Charlotte,

I've inherited two of these 'Cottagers Kale' plants from a previous tenant of my allotment. Any growing/maintenance advice would be greatly appreciated as it's delicious and I would like to continue to grow them and propagate to replenish as needed. I've just given two experimental cuttings in a pot to mum as an emergency stop-gap measure as one of the plants has started to die off (still has new growth but one half is dead).

Kind regards,

ps. more than happy to offer seeds/cuttings by way of thanks! Off the top of my head I have some interesting squash seeds from my neighbor on the allotment - bit of a cross between butternut and a french type.
