Mame's Garden

This was my French grandparents garden. I know it doesn't look much in these photos but they were completely self sufficient. They kept rabbits and chickens. They had fruit trees, nut trees and a vegetable plot. And because my grandpa was a carpenter he would swap his skills for something or a neighbour would come buy and bring round something like some melons and swap them for some potatoes, they never had to buy anything. I think this way of life is completely idyllic.
