Gardening In The Bits Of Sun We Have

Well my garden might of gotten a little out of hand, just a few weeds, but there are potatoes and broad beans growing among the bind weed and various other weeds.

 My hole is coming along
First flowers on my rose climber, they smell beautiful.
One of my foxgloves i grew from seed. I have noticed as well that this year that foxgloves have done so well.
I look up and there is Lucas in the potatoes. He pops up everywhere.
Step one to progress one bed weeded.

Having a nap in the beautiful weather.
I made passion fruit and kiwi ice lollies
Beds cleared, beans tied, leeks planted, parsnips sowed (i know very late but finger crossed).
My rose in a week has just burst open. Beauty Everywhere.

 Lupin with a bee
Re-potted squash because I am waiting for the space to come clear when I dig up potatoes.
 Corn planted.

Malvern Spring Show

This flower show is more of a shopping emporium for gardeners. Which to me is great, because you have everything to start your gardening year with. Yes I bought to much but its always a great show to go to, but only thing was that the gardens this year weren't brill but doesn't matter still a fun place to visit.

Work From May

It's tidy time, get it prepped for summer,if it comes. I re-potted the strawberries into pots and out of the buckets and they look much healthier.

My new bed or my mother says new hole. I wanted to gravel it all and have random circle beds throughout for flowers and i was hoping that would create a flow through the garden. But to do the gravel is to much work at the moment so i am going slow and do the beds first.
Here is my diamond beds progressing.

Might of gone a little crazy at Homebase on plants.

Winter. Planning Time

So everything looks like its dying back apart from the bamboo which really seems to of taken off in the last year or so. Also its so green compared to everything else its hard not for it to stand out.
I will be making a proper gate this time as this is the third "gate" that has been broken. It looks like this time something with full force just went through the middle of it.
This is another area of my garden that will be changing. I can't really explain what will happen but its going to be a huge change. So watch this space.
Pretty solid.
I bought some fruit bushes or fruit twigs in this case from ASDA the other day because I have moved my Logan berry because it has got to big. Also I want to use it as coverage over the fence. The gooseberry has gone next to the other gooseberry bushes on the bed at the end with the rhubarb to complete my crumble patch.
